Lluís Llort, (1966, Barcelona, Spain), works since 1986 as a literary critic and editor of the weekly Cultura supplement of the Catalan newspaper El Punt Avui in Barcelona. He has published nine novels, short stories and several children’s books, and also written TV scripts.

Llort’s novels are noir at its best: intelligent, satirical and humorous portraits that dissect human weaknesses.
