Josep Penya (Barcelona, ​​1966) has devoted his entire professional life to storytelling, both fiction and reality, in different formats: press, television, cinema, internet, cultural institutions, and international exhibitions.

He has been a journalist, screenwriter, script coordinator, and head of content. And finally, a writer, thanks to a grant from the Government of Catalonia which bought him time to finish The Grandfather’s Commission, his first novel.

He currently lives in Port de la Selva (Alt Empordà), where he wrote this book and is already working on the second.
