Christin Ljungqvist (born 1983) lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. She made her debut as an author in 2012 with Rabbit Heart, a dark, psychological novel that has reached young and older readers alike. With a blog, a job in a bookstore and an interest in painting, Christin is productive and versatile. She is also a multilayered stylist, determined not to limit herself to one genre. Her books are light and ethereal but, at the same time, distinctive and unique. To date she has written three novels in the Hanna Series on the subject of clairvoyance, published by Gilla Förlag.
Hanna can see ghosts. In addition, she is haunted by her dark, tragic family history and longs to break free from all those who seek her help – both ghosts and the haunted, whether dead or alive. We follow Hanna on her long struggle to control her gift and live a normal life in three highly-praised novels, Rabbit Heart, Bird Child, and The Song of Foxes, all of which are related in the author’s characteristic tender, beautiful tone.
In addition to Christin’s other book projects, there is a plan for more books about the haunted, brave young Hanna.
